M-CITY & ORTICANOODLES – POP ART 2008

Une des plus belles expositions duo de l’année.

Des poissons volent au dessus de bâtiments noirs et blancs qui semblent tout droit sortis de l’imagination rocambolesque d’un architecte fou et probablement constructiviste. Cette vision est complètement surréaliste et pourtant ce n’est pas un rêve d’Arizona, nous sommes dans une galerie italienne à Bergame, la Traffic Gallery. Des squelettes pisciformes nagent du mur à la toile avec une transition de couleur parfaitement maîtrisée. Il semblerait qu’Orticanoodles ait atteint une véritable maturité dans sa collaboration avec M-City. Leurs univers respectifs s’emboîtent avec harmonie.
L’équilibre entre wallpainting et accrochage donne envie de voir plus souvent ce type d’exposition street art en galerie. Une leçon aux galeristes frileux !

One of the most beautiful duo shows of the year.
Fishes fly over black and white buildings that seem straight out of the fantastic imagination of a crazy and probably constructivist architect.
This is completely surrealist and yet this is not an Arizona Dream, we are in an Italian gallery in Bergamo, the Traffic Gallery. Skeleton fishes swim from the wall to the canvas with a good transition of colours. It seems that Orticanoodles has reached a real maturity in his collaboration with M-City. Their worlds fit together harmoniously.
The balance between hanging and wallpainting make us desire to see more of this type of street art exhibitions. A lesson to cautious galleries!
