Vhils’s book « Scratching the Surface »

Dans le cadre de l’expo solo du Street Artiste portugais Vhils, « Scratching the Surface », chez Lazarides Rathbones à Londres (relisez ça et revoyez la fameuse vidéo là), un magnifique ouvrage compilant son travail a été récemment édité. Arborant une typo en découpe laser en couverture, relié, en 80 pages couleurs, 28 x 22 cm, « Scratching The Surface» est strictement limité à 100 exemplaires signés dans le monde entier, et coûte £ 45. Bravo au travail de Ian Cox de Wallkandy dont de nombreuses photos figurent à l’intérieur. Le lancement du livre s’est fait il y a 8 jours au Greek Street Shop, en même temps que 3 sérigraphies que l’artiste a customisées à la main (édition pour chaque print en 30 exemplaires signés par l’artiste, de 70 x 49.5 cm, disponible au prix de £ 350). Si il en reste une poignée d’exemplaires, c’est un miracle. Nous attendons tous avec espoir une édition plus large !

As part of the solo exhibition of Portuguese street artist Vhils, « Scratching the Surface » @ Lazarides Rathbone in London (remind here and review the famous video here), a beautiful book compiling his work was recently published. Featuring a lazer-cut front cover, the full colour, 80 page, 28 x 22 cm, hard-back book ‘Scratching The Surface’ is also signed by the artist, is strictly limited to only 100 copies worldwide, and costs £45. Congratz to the photographer Ian Cox from Wallkandy whose many pictures are included in it. The book has been launched 8 days ago @ Greek Street Shop, as well as three Laz-exclusive hand-finished prints (each print is from an overall varied edition of 30, measures 70 x 49.5 cm, is signed by the artist, and available to purchase at £350). If there are a handful of copies, it is a miracle. We are all hopefully waiting it with a wider availability !
