The Stencil Show @ White Wall, San Francisco

Une exposition collective tout simplement nommée « The Stencil Show » court jusqu’au 7 novembre à San Francisco à la White Wall Gallery. C’est l’occasion de voir des artistes qu’on voit peu tels qu’Adam 5100 représenté à l’année par cette galerie, mais aussi David Soukup, qui semble avoir récemment pris leçon du travail du berlinois Evol, ainsi que Ernesto Yerena. Blek le Rat quant à lui présente trois versions d’un portrait de Barak Obama, en blanc, bleu et rouge, dans un goût douteux. Et cela a été par ailleurs l’occasion pour moi de découvrir le travail originalement érotique de Casey Gray ou celui tout aussi singulier de Tes One.

Adam 5100, Mission Gate

An exhibition simply called « The Stencil Show » runs until November 7th in San Francisco at the White Wall Gallery. This is an opportunity to see artists rarely seenable like Adam 5100 who is currently represented by this gallery, but also David Soukup, who seems to have taken lessons from the recent work of based Berlin Evol, and Ernesto Yerena. Blek le Rat presents three versions of a portrait of Barak Obama, in white, blue and red, in questionable taste. And actually this was also the occasion for me to discover the originally erotic work of Casey Gray or the equally singular work of Tes One.
