Lundi, c’est Le Stencil Of The Week : Paper Monster

A la fois palme de la semaine et palme de l’exposition « Go Get Your Shinebox » : Paper Monster !! Ce 21 novembre s’est en effet ouvert à la Brooklynite Gallery l’exposition collective « Go Get Your Shinebox ». Même si le concept de l’expo ne manque pas d’évoquer C215 qui, le premier, à travailler sur des boites à cirer les chaussures, il se décline encore différemment. Cette exposition met en vedette plus de 100 œuvres d’artistes tous en quête de savoir comment survivre dans notre contexte économique en créant leur propre interprétation d’une « boîte de survie ». » La Brooklynite Gallery a invité certains de leurs artistes préférés, confirmés comme émergents, pour relever ce défi et les réponses sont à couper le souffle. Des artistes comme Dain, Miss Bugs, PaperMonster, Anthony Lister, Ben Eine, Jace, Thundercut, Skewville, Ben Frost, Jon Burgerman, Specter, Skewville, Know Hope, Kosbe, Gaia, Ben Frost, Tais-toi et beaucoup d’autres ont redoublé d’ingéniosité. Both palm of the week and palm of the exhibition « Go Get Your Shinebox », this is Paper Monster! This November 21st was indeed the opening of the Brooklynite Gallery group show « Go Get Your Shinebox. Although the concept of the show does not fail to mention that C215 was the first to work on shoeshine boxes, it is quite different. This group show will feature over 100 works from artists all looking to answer the question of how to survive in these economic times by creating their own interpretation of a  « Survival Box. »  Brooklynite Gallery has commissioned some of their favorite established and emerging artist to take on this challenge and the responses are breathtaking. Artists such as Dain, Miss Bugs, PaperMonster, Anthony Lister, Ben Eine, Jace, Thundercut, Skewville, Ben Frost, Jon Burgerman, Specter, Skewville, Know Hope, Kosbe, Gaia, Ben Frost, Hush, and many more have all created a one of a kind box, each taking the concept of the show one step further.
