« Aerosol Fumes » group show, Berlin

Une ville commence à disputer sérieusement à Paris son rôle de capitale historique du pochoir, vous l’aurez deviné, il s’agit de Berlin. L’exposition « Aerosol Fumes » en est une ultime preuve, son line up parlant de soi même : Bohomaz, Emess, Czarnobyl, Evol et Pisa73. Ces artistes sont autant actifs dans la rue qu’en galerie, les trois derniers étant même à la tête de Super Plan, un espace d’exposition atypique, à la fois laboratoire et atelier. La galerie ATM avait consacré une expo solo à Emess il y a quelques semaines de cela. Et je découvre avec intérêt le travail de Bohomaz. On a donc l’occasion avec l’exposition collective que présente en ce moment la Neurotitian Gallery d’observer la confrontation de divers styles autour d’une même technique et de voir un vrai best of du pochoir berlinois.

A city is beginning to compete seriously in Paris its historical role as capital of stencil art, you guessed it, this is Berlin. The exhibition « Aerosol Fumes » is a final proof. Check the line up out: Bohomaz, Emess, Czarnobyl, Evol and Pisa73. These artists are all as active outdoor as indoor, the latter three people being at the head of Super Plan, a non-standard exhibition space, both laboratory and workshop. Emess had a solo show at ATM Gallery a few weeks ago and I discovered with interest the work of Bohomaz.
It is therefore the opportunity with this group show exhibition @ the Neurotitian Gallery to observe the confrontation of various styles around the same technique and see some of the best stencil artists of Berlin.
