J’ai grandi à Paris, dans le quartier du Bas-Belleville, dans le 20e, carrefour de l’histoire de l’art urbain et du pochoir en particulier. Les Miss.Tic, Nemo et Mesnager font partie intégrante de mon environnement quotidien depuis l’enfance.
Un matin de l’an 2000, je me suis arrêtée net devant un rectangle gris sur un mur, là où se trouvait encore la veille un magnifique pochoir :  La Naissance de Vénus d’après Botticelli.  Il faisait partie du projet « Muses et Hommes », initié par Miss.Tic en 2000,  série qui, à mes yeux, est une de ses plus grandes réussites  avec « Héroïnes ».  Ce pochoir venait d’être effacé par les services de la Mairie. Je l’avais photographié seulement deux jours auparavant. Alors, j’ai commencé à archiver.
En 2001, j’impose avec force mon sujet de mémoire de maîtrise d’histoire de l’art à Serge Lemoine, à la Sorbonne, qui commençait à prendre ses fonctions de directeur du Musée d’Orsay. C’est finalement Arnauld Pierre qui m’a suivie et soutenue.
En 2003, je me lance dans une autre aventure : le site Paris Pochoirs s’ouvre sous l’égide de Samantha & Michel, père et fille. Quelques mois plus tard, j’organise une exposition collective de pochoiristes français au squat Electron Libre (Le Bateleur, Miss.Tic, Nemo, Mosko et Associés, Blek le Rat, Epsylon Point, Nice Art, Artiste-Ouvrier, Spliff Gachette, La Sorcière, Hao, Lazslo, Poch, Yz Open Your Eyes, Super Sapin, L’Atlas). C’est un succès : 800 personnes au vernissage, la presse est au rendez-vous, un vrai buzz et du jamais vu depuis les années 80.
Je continue mes études; une licence de socio suivie d’un DESS de conduite de projets culturels. Cela me permet d’écrire un mémoire supplémentaire sur les formes d’art dans l’espace public, qui met en perspective l’art urbain (qu’on commence à appeler Street Art) avec l’art contemporain.
En 2005, je rencontre Christian Guémy aka C215 et fonde avec lui l’association éponyme, une maison d’édition et organisatrice d’expositions collectives qui aura brassé pas moins de 150 artistes issus du milieu de l’illustration et du street art. Une grande aventure qui m’amène à concevoir en 2007 le livre Stencil History X.
Stencil History X est une enquête bilingue sur l’histoire du pochoir français et donne dans le même temps la parole à 40 artistes français et étrangers à travers des interviews et des portfolios. Sa parution s’accompagne d’une tournée d’expositions représentant le travail des artistes issus du livre et rencontrés depuis. La tournée est passée par Paris et Mulhouse, mais aussi Vienne, Barcelone, Brighton, Berlin et New-York.

Aujourd’hui, je travaille avec un noyau d’artistes pochoiristes de tous horizons, que j’aime artistiquement et humainement. C’est pourquoi j’ai lancé ce site permettant de s’immerger dans un monde à part.

I grew up in Paris, in the district of Bas-Belleville in the 20th arrondissement, a crossroads in the history of street art and stencil art in particular. Thus Miss.Tic, Nemo and Mesnager are an integral part of my daily life since childhood.
Once in 2000, I stopped dead in front of a gray rectangle on a wall, where the day before was still a beautiful stencil. The Muses et Hommes series, with her series Heroines, remains today, in my view, what Miss.Tic did it the best. And that was just The Birth of Venus from Botticelli. It had just been cleaned up by the City. I had taken a picture of it two days earlier. So I started to archive stencils.
In 2001, I strongly imposed my Art History Master’s subject on my director, Serge Lemoine, at Sorbonne. Arnauld Pierre finally followed and supported me.
In 2003, I embarked on another adventure: the website Paris Pochoirs opens under the auspices of Samantha & Michel, father and daughter. A few months later, I organize a group show featuring French stencil artists at the Electron Libre’s squat (Le Bateleur, Miss.Tic, Nemo, Mosko et Associés, Blek le Rat, Epsylon Point, Nice Art, Artiste-Ouvrier, Spliff Gachette, La Sorcière, Hao, Lazslo, Poch, Yz Open Your Eyes, Super Sapin, L’Atlas). It is a big success: 800 people at the opening, the press was there, a real buzz and not seen since the 80s.
I continue my studies, a Sociology BA followed by a postgraduate of Conduct of Cultural Projects. This allows me to write a dissertation about the different forms of art in public space, which puts into perspective urban art with contemporary art.
In 2005, I met Christian Guémy aka C215 and founded the association under the same name, a publisher and organizer of exhibitions which have stirred no less than 150 artists from the middle of the illustration and street art. A great adventure that leads me to conceive the Stencil History X book in 2007.
Stencil History X is a bilingual survey on the history of French stencil art and gives to 40 French and foreign artists’s word through interviews and portfolios. Its release is accompanied by a tour of exhibitions showcasing the work of the artists from the book. The tour went through Paris and Mulhouse in France, but also Vienna, Barcelona, Brighton, New York, and Berlin.

Today, I work with a core of stencil artists from all walks of life, who I artistically and humanly love. That is why I launched this website which allows everyone to immerse themselves in a specific world.
