Originaire de Baltimore, dans le Maryland, Logan Hicks déménage à Los Angeles à la fin des années 90 et s’est finalement installé à New York il y a peu. Sérigraphe à l’origine, Logan s’est tourné rapidement vers le pochoir sans retour possible. Il est connu pour ses pochoirs méticuleux, hyperréalistes, et monochromes. Trouver un ordre dans le chaos et  voir la beauté dans le banal autrement, ont été une constante dans les travaux de Logan.
Il a beaucoup voyagé en prenant des centaines de photos et a vécu son obsession en transformant en pochoirs tous ces paysages urbains. «J’ai toujours été attiré par la lutte que la ville offre. Je semble me concentrer sur les situations où la ville a le potentiel pour devenir un obstacle ».

Originally trained in Baltimore, Maryland, Logan Hicks moved to Los Angeles during the last 90′s and finally settled in NYC a couple of years ago. Originally a screeprinter, Logan turned fastly to stencilling and he has never turned back. He is known for his hyper-detailled, meticulously and monochomatic hand-cut stencil. Finding an order within chaos and seeing the beauty in the otherwise mundane, have been a constant in Logan’s work.
He travelled a lot taking hundred of pictures and lived his obsession in turning them into urban landscapes stencils. « I have always been drawn to the struggle that the city provides. I seem to focus on those situations where the city has the potential to become an obstacle. »
